Banff Mountain Film Festival at Caltech

PASADENA, Calif.— Faster, steeper, higher, deeper! For those who like to ride the roaring rapids, scale the steepest peaks, or visit some of the most majestic ranges in the world, the Banff Mountain Film Festival is coming to the California Institute of Technology. The film festival will take place on March 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Ramo Auditorium on the Caltech campus.

The Banff film festival highlights "mountain films" that feature climbs to the highest peaks, rides on the wildest waters, and journeys to some of the most enchanting places around the globe. This screening will be hosted by the Caltech Alpine Club and the Outland Mountain Shop.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Tickets and additional information may be obtained from the Caltech ticket office at (626) 395-4652 or toll free at 1 (888) 2-CALTECH (1 (888) 222-5832).

Ramo Auditorium is located near the center of campus, on the south side of Baxter Hall and south of Beckman Auditorium. Free parking is available in the lots south of Del Mar Boulevard between Wilson and Chester avenues, and in the parking structure at 370 South Holliston Avenue.
