BBE celebrates the restoration of a DNA sculpture.

At some point in the past decade, the double helix sculpture at the entrance to Alles courtyard lost one of its complementary helices. At a brief ceremony on November 15, the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering (BBE) celebrated the restoration of the sculpture to its original design. Pictured, BBE chair Steve Mayo measures a strand alongside an artist from Carlson Arts, the company that produced an identical replacement of the missing piece.
